Howard travels the world.

Today's the big day! I've been in Denver for 2 days of orientation with the 4 other outbound IFYE's and the 15 inbound IFYE's. We got the opportunity to talk with people from the countries we will be traveling to and also talk to the Colorado IFYE Alumni that have been to our host countries. We also got to tour downtown Denver and go to a real Colorado cowboy bar. Although this wasn't as much of a culture shock for me as it was for the inbounds, I got to ride a mechanical bull (hopefully pictures to follow) and waltz. Now I wait and wait and wait some more for my flight. Luckily I have some movies.

My lovely Jamie friend let me borrow her precious Howard (the buffalo) for my journey, so you will most likely to continue to see Howard in other photos. Although this will be our longest trip together it is not our first. Howard has accompanied Jamie and I to Burgess Junction and Rock Springs. Howard now watches a movie while we wait.
